A Little About Me...

Hi guys! It's me, Holly. The face you'll see behind the camera! I have been taking photos for quite a few years now (probably since 2018 or maybe even before) but have really decided to take it more seriously in the last few years (2021).

Currently I work full time as a Certified Medical Assistant at a health center on Mount Desert Island. I've been a CMA for 8 years now and truly love what I do. I'm also a mama to an absolutely devilishly handsome little boy. My husband and I got married in 2017 but have been together since 2011! We recently purchased a home in my hometown, Southwest Harbor, Maine and truly I've never been happier.

I was born & raised in Southwest Harbor, Maine and honestly I've never made it far from there as this Island truly feels like heaven to me. There is just something SO special about this community and my ENTIRE family is in this area, so truly there is nowhere else I'd rather be.

In general, I truly think of myself as an introverted extrovert. Basically, I am a GIANT homebody, don't like to stray too far, but also LOVE to travel and see new places. I'm extremely comfortable in places that I know with people that I know, but I also am a social butterfly. It's kind of weird but I truly can adapt to most situations that I'm put into, but also like to control the environment that I'm in. Does that even make sense? ANYWAYS...

NOW when it comes to photos, I feel like I have a totally different personality. I am the goofiest goof behind my camera in order to get genuine reactions out of my clients and make those kiddos smile. I like to capture raw, genuine moments and have recently felt much more comfortable with not such 'posey' photography. I don't ever want you to do anything that feels un-natural and uncomfortable to you. I love photography so much and I want to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera so that we can preserve memories together.
